Almost sounds like you're running out of ideas... then again there is something profound in your post for today: It is simply not possible to get the human mind wrapped around life, so, remain seated and keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times, and ENJOY THE RIDE!
I have been toiling with something the past few weeks - maybe I can raise it here? Let's say for sake of argument that our view of God is 100% correct. Now, from this viewpoint there are two ways to view other viewpoints about God and faith:
(1) Other faiths worship different gods and these gods have different attributes. Assuming monotheism, they have to be, by definition, wrong. These people are serving a figment of their imagination.
(2) Other faiths have a deformed view of the one true God - they don't understand (or are aware!) of key concepts, but they are not completely wrong.
I find it difficult to to get my mind around other faiths in terms of these two viewpoints. For some faiths (the hypothetical South-American tribesman that worships a God he sees in nature and in his primitive, every-day life) it is easy to put them in category (2), but for a Muslim, I have to go with (1).
However, the point that I want to make is that if we can get to a point where we see all people as (2), we may look at them with completely different eyes. All of a sudden they are not evil incarnated, but people just like us. Maybe then, the terrible religious evils that are littered throughout history may come to an end for good.
